Webex Calling in Odoo: free app in the Odoo App Store

Odoo knows who your customer is. Webex knows that he called this morning and nobody answered. So far nobody sees both together – there was no ready-made Odoo app for Webex Calling.

Now there is one: our Webex Calling Connector is in the Odoo App Store, free of charge.

What you get in Odoo

  • The calls are in Odoo. Incoming, outgoing, answered, missed – as a list of their own next to your contacts.
  • Every call belongs to a contact. Matching works by phone number, however the number is written in the contact.
  • Up to date every night. The module fetches the new calls by itself and continues where it last stopped.
  • Better no name than a wrong one. If two contacts share a number, the call stays unmatched.
  1. Someone callsWebex Calling records the call
  2. During the nightThe module brings the calls into Odoo
  3. In the morningThe call is listed with the contact
Missed calls and calls through a hunt group arrive as well.

What it deliberately does not do

  • It writes nothing to Webex. The module has read-only rights.
  • It records nothing. No conversations, no messages.
  • It does not rate employees. Call counts say who reached how many customers – not who works well.

Setting it up

  • Search the Odoo App Store for “Webex Calling Connector” and download the module for Odoo 17 or 18: apps.odoo.com/apps/modules/18.0/webex_calling
  • Create an integration in Webex and enter its two values in Odoo. The description in the store leads you through it step by step.
  • Click “Connect with Webex”. The sign-in happens at Cisco; Odoo never sees your Webex password.
  • Choose “Import now”. The first import reaches back up to 30 days.

What you should know

  • Not for Odoo Online. Third-party modules run on Odoo.sh and on your own servers.
  • At most 30 days back. Webex does not hand out more.
  • You need administrator rights in Webex – once, for the authorisation.
  • The module’s interface is in English.

And who is calling right now?

The module brings the calls into Odoo. The other direction is covered by Haus iT Caller ID: while the phone rings, name, company and customer number from your Odoo appear in the Webex client – without installing anything in Odoo.

In short

Odoo knows your customers, Webex knows the calls. The Webex Calling Connector brings the two together – free, in the Odoo App Store.

Frequently asked questions

Is there an Odoo app for Webex Calling?

Yes. The Webex Calling Connector has been in the Odoo App Store since October 2026. It brings the calls from Cisco Webex Calling into Odoo and matches every call to a contact by phone number.

What does the Webex Calling Connector cost?

Nothing. The module is free and open source. You need Odoo 17 or 18 and a Webex Calling organisation with administrator access.

Does the module run on Odoo Online?

No. Under Odoo’s rules, third-party modules can be installed on Odoo.sh and on your own servers only, not on Odoo Online.

Does the module change anything in Webex?

No. It only reads. It does not record conversations and does not read messages.

How far back does the call data go?

At most 30 days on the first import. Webex does not hand out call data for longer. After that the module fetches the new calls every night.

Does it show me in Webex who is calling?

That is what Haus iT Caller ID is for: the caller’s name appears in the Webex client while the phone rings. The module in the App Store covers the other direction – the calls into Odoo.
